Open House part 2...demonstrations

For our Open House we had three demonstrations going on simultaneously. This is the display for Judy's demonstration of Banners and Mixed Media. Judy always creates the most wonderful items for her demonstrations.

You and I created the mixed media canvases after seeing Carrie's at convention. We both are hooked.
Here is a close up of the ones made by Judy.
And here are mine. We both used only Stampin' Up! materials where we could. We used re-inkers to tint our white paint, we used SU designer paper for all our pieced designs. You might not be able to tell because most of it was painted over. We used SU stamp sets for all the distressing and words (expect for those hand written) and we even used the stencils for the Build a Banner kit (note the large polka dots and chevron designs).

These are some of the banners Judy made. The mini holiday catty shows the traditional holiday banners, but Judy has shown other uses. Isn't the Bunco banner cute!

These muslin bags are adorable. Judy stenciled them using the stencils from the Build a Banner kit.
And last is one of my favorite pieces. I just love this little sign using the paper from the Witches' Brew Designer Series. This is the next project I plan to do as soon as my reorder of paper comes in. I'm out of that stripe! :(
Come back tomorrow for the next demonstrations.
:)

What great projects! I'm not ready for mixed media but have dabbled a bit here and there. You are AWESOME! Thanks for being a part of the LNS FAll Treasure Hunt!
