Stamp club projects

I finally have a stamping post for you. You have seen the embossed vellum card already but can see it closer at the link posted below. I made the matchbox using the big shot die. I thought the die was for something completely different. It is very small and will hold a few nuggets or a small piece of jewelry. The bunny card uses the bunny from Eight Great Greetings and features the scalloped oval trim. You can look here for details on how to make it. I don't think you can see in the photo, but the white card stock behind the bunny has been embossed with the dotted swiss texturz plate. Well everyone will be arriving soon so better go get ready to greet them. Have a great weekend. The weather this weekend in Houston is supposed to be awesome.

Manhattan Flower embossing folder is awesome!

If you haven't seen Julie Bulher's tutorial on making this card, go there now! It is another great idea for using the Manhattan Flower embossing folder, exclusive from Stampin' Up! Here's my first attempt, but I plan on adding ribbon at the bottom and trying other color combos. Just one tip when you emboss yours: since you want the raised edges to be on the front, pay attention to how you place your cardstock into the folder. I didn't get it right until my third attempt, that's when I looked closely at Julie's tutorial to see how she had hers.
