He's here!

Jaxon Daniel arrived today at 2:20 in the afternoon. He timed it perfectly! He was due April 2nd, but I had stamp club to get ready for. Then Friday night and Saturday morning I was busy with the club. The last members left at 11:30. So my hubby and I went to lunch at TGIFriday and then over to the mall. What I didn't know was that my son had sent me a text message saying that they were on their way to the hospital at 12 noon. At 1:10 my cell phone rang and it's my son telling me that they were going to do an emergency c-section because the baby seemed to be experiencing some stress. That's when I found his text message from noon. So we headed over to the hospital which is right by the mall (wasn't that convenient!). At 2:15 Jaxon arrived. The stress was caused by the cord being wrapped around his neck four times! The stress was God's way of letting us know that Jaxon could not be delivered naturally. He is 6 lbs. 15 oz. and 20 inches long. I think we will keep him! He was very laid back while they were doing all the weighing and measuring and didn't cry when he got his shot! Hope he continues to be so content and laid back as he grows up. I thank God for the precious new life he has given us! And thank you Jaxon for waiting so I could be there when you were born.
