Magic Snowflake

Have you tried this technique yet? You can find a tutorial over at SCS. I wondered how it was different from the polished stone technique since they look so similar. Well, when you try it you will understand. With this technique, you stamp and emboss your image FIRST. Then dab a cotton ball that has alcohol and re-inkers (no metallic like the polished stone). Then (and here's the difference) you heat your image again with the embossing gun. Watch as your embossed image reappears magically! I fell in love with Beate's layout for her sample that she made for the tutorial. I changed the stamp, colors, and paper for the card below. My club members will be making this card in December.

Stamps: Serene Snowflakes
Paper: Taken with Teal, Ruby Red, Whisper White, Holiday Lounge dp
Ink: White Craft, Taken with teal and Tempting Turquoise re-inkers, teal and ruby markers
