Merry Christmas Everyone!

I got home last night from my Chirstmas trip to D.C. to visit the grandkids. It was a wonderful trip. I will share photos another time. Today I want to share the beautiful handmade cards that I received from many of stamp club members. You gals did a great job!

Boxes and Bags class bites the dust!

December is such a busy month for everyone: party, party, party! Due to everyone who had signed up to come to the box class e-mailing me and saying they can no longer come to this class BECAUSE they have to PARTY, I am forced (lol) to cancel. It wouldn't be much fun by myself!
But have no fear, club members, we will be making the bag in a box at club this weekend. See you there.

Twilight

Have you joined the Twilight craze? I've read all four books and just loved them. Whoever said this is a teen series were wrong. Of course I loved the Harry Porter books too.
If you are planning to see the movie, read the book first, the movie will make more sense. I saw the movie with my 11 year old neice. Of course, she and her friends are all in love with Edward. And, yeah, me too. How wouldn't melt at his smoldering looks! See for yourself!

Happy Thanksgiving

Many of you know that I am a Kindergarten teacher. My students really keep me busy, but they are a great bunch of turkeys..um..kids! Here is a peek into my classroom. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and get to spend it with someone you love. I am having Thanksgiving with my husband and MIL, then we are going over to my son's in-laws for dessert. Then Friday we are traveling to Dallas to spend a night with my older son and his girlfriend. I will not be seeing my youngest son or grandkids this holiday ( they live in the DC area) BUT we are all (including my other two sons and their ladies) spending Christmas in DC!

Card Class Attendees

Well, everyone is gone and the class cleaned up. Everyone seemed to like the cards they made. I took a few candid shots of everyone working hard. I hope they enjoy seeing themselves here.

Hey everybody, I know it's been awhile since I posted. I don't know how those other bloggers do it, work a day job and still keep up their blog. I have been busy stamping though!!! Unforturnately, I've been sick with the "kindergarten" crud, sinus and allergies. But I am starting to feel better, I have alot going on this week: The Glitterin Gal's demonstrators meeting was at my house today (we did a swap called "anything but a card" and I'll be sharing some of those with you soon). Tuesday my scrapbookers meet here for the Summer Home Simply Scrappin layouts, Friday is my Holiday Cards class (8 for $18) and Saturday is my supper club dinner and I am the hostess this month. Then Monday my MIL arrives for Thanksgiving! Busy, busy, busy!!! Plus my kindergarten team will be having our annual Indian Pow Wow for the kids at school on Friday. Anyway, here is the swap I made for the demonstrator swap today. I used a coaster cut to 3 1/2 x 3 1/2.

Today, I've been working on the cards for the November 21st Holiday Cards class. When I saw the Season of Friendship set in the mini catalog, I knew I had to have it. I've seen so many cards and scrapbooking layouts lately using trees and just love them. So here's my fall "button" tree.

first entry

Hello fellow stampers. Welcome to my brand new blog. My friend Annie, who knows all things bloggy, came over today and set up this blog for me. I love reading everyone's stamping blog and thought I needed one too. We'll see how often I actually get things posted. I did post one of the club projects we will be making next weekend, copied straight from the Stampin' Success magazine I receieve each month as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. Club members need to bring a photo that can be cropped to fit the slide mount chipboard frame (2x2). We are also making a trio of items to use on your Thanksgiving dinner table.
