Elements of Style in Black and White

This is my swap for the demonstrators meeting today. I used the Elements of Style and In a Word sets from the new summer mini.

Coconut Drink Card

This is a retirement card for a co-worker at school. The theme was tropical. I used the big shot to cut a 4" circle from Chocolate chip and white cardstock. Next I put the chocolate chip through the square lattice embossing folder. Then I cut the top of both circles. I used the Punched Posies (hostess set from the Summer mini) and the five petal punch to make the flowers. The flower and straw are attached to the coconut with the rhinestone brad. The paper is Island Oasis. This is a big card...a full piece of cardstock folded in half.

Snetimental Journey Brief case Travel Journal

Here's a peek at the next project for my scrapbooking group. It is a travel journal using the new brief case board book from SU's new summer mini catalog. It features the Sentimental Journey stamp set and the Travel Journal designer series paper.
